A FASCINATING PRODUCT

Jesmonite

Natural resin, light, fire resistant and environmentally friendly.

Jesmonite has it all!

This is why we use it for our “Candle in a pot” creations and, in order to guarantee longevity of use, our pots are waterproofed with a natural wax.

This way, you can give another life to our creations ;)

THE BEAUTY OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

Imperfect creations

Although Jesmonite is a material that respects nature thanks to its main material: an aqueous acrylic resin, it gives all of our creations a singularity and authenticity.

Each creation has its own particularity, which makes them unique decorative objects.

These particularities are beyond our control. It is characterized by the presence of air bubbles of different shades.

These traces of "irregularities" are the guarantors of a work made by hand.

By purchasing a product from Osawa Home you accept the idea that the beauty of all things is found through its imperfections.

GOOD GESTURES

I maintain my candle

  • Each of our potted candles comes with a lid to prevent dust deposits. Be sure to replace the lid of your candle on its pot after it has cooled. This gesture will protect your candle from possible dirt.

  • The burning time is important for the proper melting of your candle. It is necessary to let your candle burn until a small pool has completely formed, which will allow its scent to be well diffused, and will avoid wasting burning time, because the wax on the wall of your pot will not have could not melt.

  • We recommend that you use scissors to maintain the wick of your candle. To improve the quality of combustion, before each relighting, cut the wick 1 cm from the surface of the wax: This allows you to remove excess / burning residue and avoid a flame that is too high which flickers, smokes and reduces the burning time.

  • Apart from its use, avoid placing your candle near sources of light and heat which could degrade the visual appearance, such as behind a bay window, above a lit fireplace or near
    of a radiator.
